Anyone else cum after hearing there's going to be a movie? After waiting for years, I think I did a combination of pissing myself and cumming. The comic was amazing. After reading it, I think I changed as a person. I'm hoping... really... begging for this not to turn out like V For Vendetta. Yeah, sure, the movie was okay. NOT. They ruined the comic, basically. I want to erase my memory of even watching that movie. That's how horrible it was. Simply... Just that. If the Watchmen movie is that bad, I'll probably go on a rampage, take every mass leader, put them in a room, strap 1700 lbs. of C4 to every single one of them, and blow them, myself, and the police officers surrounding the building up. Right... Anyone else excited?

looks good, heard much good reviews of the comic. It's hard to come by comics here though so I'm probably going to rely on the movie to hit a lot of the key points of the plot, hope they pull it off like they did with The Incredible Hulk

Wow another super hero movie... Joy. Those camera shots where to dark. Not interested on that alone.

The comic has been out longer than most others. And the camera shots were too dark for effect; It's based in a dark tense.
At least I'm not raging on about The Spirit (which sucks, btw).

I think I heard on G4 that they took out the giant octopus from the ending. If it's true, that blows.

Well, that sounds pretty anticlimactic.

I'm hoping that it's not true, as the lack of octopus would be taking a rather pivotal part of the plot out. I guess well have to wait until march 6th to find out if they did or not.

They did take it out. The writer even agreed that it didn't necessarily have to be the squid that caused it. The squid wasn't the main aspect of the explosion, therefore enabling the scene to run without it.
In the book, they used a psychic wave to make human matter basically half-deteriorate. The squid was just a transmitter. Though, I do not agreed with their decision. The writer explained that it could have been anything. BUT! He chose to make it a squid. Making their whole point blatant, and overall pointless.
If they took the squid out, I'd just love to see what they used as a transmitter. (Cue manatic laughter)

Probably a whale or something of the sort.

Why the hell would they use a whale in place of a squid? The squid would be more intense in that situation. A whale would just be humorous.

I just said the first aquatic creature that came to my mind. I doubt it'd be a whale.

I'm just sad that they cut out the squid. I mean, come on! Using millions of dollars to get top scientists to clone a psychic human brain, and implant it in a genetically altered giant squid, then sending that giant squid off in a teleporter that causes all matter that passes through it to explode to New York City? PRICELESS.

1tater, I think I love you.
And yes. Though, the point still stays there... It's just not the squid that transmits it. But damn. I nearly punched a hole in my wall when that happened in the book. Not from anger, it was just some extreme geekgasm.

I found they have an iPhone app for the Watchmen movie. It has a synopsis of the movie, character bios, some watchmen wallpapers, videos, and a countdown clock to the movie release date. Best of all, it's free! I'm honestly contemplating calling in sick on the day it comes out if I have to work that day. The only problem is that I work at a movie theatre, and my manager knows I love the Watchmen (He does too ). <3 Forch

If I still worked at a movie theatre, I could get in for free. I think I regret going to college now.

Overall, getting in for free is the best perk of working at a movie theatre. The problem is, you only get in for free at your theatre, and you can't call in sick to go watch said free movie. Ps. Malinger: to pretend illness, especially in order to shirk duty or work. Thank you college dictionary!
