So I was looking around the FFR forums, and I came across a thread on this. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28796183/wid/11915829>1=43001Flying cars. I personally don't think it would work for a few reasons. One, the price tag is incredibly high and would be considered a toy for the rich. Two, I highly doubt the majority of the people that want to buy this are licensed to fly any aircraft. And three, where would they take off and land?

Although the thought is nice, there is still one more problem. To be able to fly safely one must go through the proper training to be able to handle and problems that may occur while flying. To be unable to pull out of an engine stall is a deadly matter. On top of the skill to fly, there would have to be regulation of the flying cars as well, to make sure no crashes occur. It's a cool idea, but not a very safe one.
Ps. Drunk flying. D:

Not necessarily.
Perhaps in the near or distant future, the cars could be piloted by built-in computers, making it pretty much autopilot. All the driver/pilot/whatever you want to call him would have to do is specify their destination, and they're on their way.
I know my explanation's lacking a bit, but you get my point, yes?

Skynet's raining flying vehicular death upon us all!! D:
I suppose it might work if they can set up a network that could keep track of the millions of cars that would be zooming around up there. With those millions of paths intersecting, it would be a daunting task, but not out of the realm of possibility.

With those millions of paths intersecting, it would be a daunting task, but not out of the realm of possibility. With that network keeping track of all the cars, the accidents can be kept to a minimum. However, something like that would take a lot of time to work on and make sure it's bug-free. At least that's what I think.

just use teleports, they're simple and only squeeze you through a wormhole the size of a few atoms.
